“When you are revamping your brand image you need an agency that can visualize the end result. We asked Next Level to produce support material that would do just that. They surpassed my expectations. They delivered strong concepts and provided a needed consistency of our brand across various mediums.”
Neil Stanton, Vice President, Innovative Ventures
The impact of a successful brand strategy can be so powerful it can mean the difference between the success of your business and that of your competitors.
A well developed brand strategy communicates who you are, makes a solid first impression and gets remembered — all factors that can increase your potential for future business. It must be attention grabbing and unique — showing your company’s strengths and qualities.
Strategy and methodology guide our brand development process through three primary phases: research and project analysis, visual identity and editorial development, brand implementation and production.
Research and Project Analysis
It’s during this phase that we’ll identify the critical elements of the clients brand.
Working closely with your team, we clarify what the brand is about and how it should evolve.
After reviewing all critical factors, we develop a Strategic Create Brief in which we suggest methods for achieving your goals. In the Brief we clarify the project and its objectives, identify the client’s brand attributes and differentiators, recommend positioning and outline our overall brand strategy and communication recommendations.
We’ll also examine the target audiences and determine their motivators. Consensus on its content is critical because the Strategic Creative Brief becomes our project map and the benchmark against which we’ll measure the success of our creative solutions.
Visual Identity Development Process
As we develop the client’s identity, we use the information we gathered in our research phase to make informed design decisions. We’ll design the components of the brand’s visual identity—including a logo and/or logotype, typographic guidelines, color palettes, recommended image styles.
During this phase, we’ll also develop the clients editorial voice and messages. The editorial voice is a powerful element of the brand identity. The brand identity is the visual representation of the company and is generally referred to as the company logo.
